“Ms. Franko, in only her fourth-ever performance in the role, seemed quite confident and at ease. She provides many effective acting choices, bringing an edginess to the part to a larger degree than other Cincinnati Elphabas before her.”

The Cincinnati audience received a treat by getting to see Franko perform the not-so-wicked Elphaba. It is hard to imagine anyone else but Chelsea performing the role. Her portrayal of the complex character displayed the perfect amount of humor, grief, anger, and hopefulness.
